A not top 10 list of things that should die in 2012
Well here we are again at the end of another year. This has been a interesting and sometimes tragic year but it's always good to make it for another. I'm really not a "list" guy but this year seemed to be the year of the overused, over saturated and over done. I guess that is a good enough reason to do one so without further babbling..... 1.Swag- If you know me you know how much this phrase comes off to me. Yup. Over used. Played. Stale. Dated. It's said SO much about EVERYTHING. Someone sees a kid in diapers. "That's that baby swag!!" really? Stop it. Kill it. Go away. .................2. Hater- OK, Let me explain to you since Adam and Eve people have a had a difference of opinion (Hence the apple incident) If I don't like your shirt, hat etc. Im not "hating" (aka jealous) I just don't freakin' like it. I don't like pickles. Never have. So I'm hating on pickles? .............3. Leggo- When I hear this I think of the great connecting toys of my youth. Umm No this is a phrase that people use to get excited about an event, happening or festive occasion. In case you're wondering it's SUPPOSED to be LET'S GO. I don't know when bad English became the cool thing to do. Wait, yes I do.... ............4. Imma a boss- OK so ignorance wins again in this category. If you're REALLY a boss why do you have to say it? You don't hear Phil Knight or Bill Gates running around saying this. Next time I hear this Im going to look that person in the eye and say "Imma employee Jyeah!" ...............5.Pause-So this was funny. FIVE years ago!!! Even then it wasn't THAT funny. If you never heard it it's to imply in some way that you may be attracted to the same sex based on your actions. Paul:"Hey Bill, That's a nice shirt" Bill: "PAUSE!!!!" Even as I type this it even sounds stupid. Damn let this one go. Quickly. ...............6.Planking. So you lay on things, take pics and people. Laugh? Hmm.. Clever, thought provoking and mind boggling. Oh wait I was thinking of something cool. Never mind. .............7. H.A.M- Hard as a mutha f***er. Another over used phrase. I'm really beginning think people just wait until a rapper tells them what to do and they do, say and breathe it immediately. If someone says this to around me again Im going to throw a real Ham at them. ............8. Hype Beasts-No not Hype BEATS. Hype beasts. These are guys who are into things just for the moment and have no sense of individuality or self style. They are the ones who get up at 2 am and wait in line to buy sneakers you loved and would wear. They on the other hand buy them because they are "hot", heard about them and know they can resell them. I think the president needs to work on a solution for this. It's a national problem. .................9. Real Talk- I like you...real talk.......I wanna get a ice cream......real talk. I think this is a way of saying "I'm serious" I mean if' it's real talk why do you have to say it? Cause you're a boss? .............10. Kill yourself-I know "Die" is in my title but these are just things and phrases. Not people. I don't know why people think suicide is the answer for people getting on their nerves. Too many times have heard I the smallest situation end with a person muttering "Ugh you get on my nerves..Kill yourself!" Really? I have to commit suicide because you're have a bad day or you just don't like me? What if I do? Then what? That's about it kids. Have a happy 2012!!! I know I will.

It won't leave me alone..LOL
Well, much like the "Godfather" line........ the minute I try to get out they pull me right back in!!! I was seriously thinking of hanging it up. I don't do Hip Hop to get money. I do it because I love the culture and the way it makes me feel. Things are in motion though. My solo is set to drop in the spring. I just finished a project with Mike "Money Bagz", about to do a joint with #1 party rocker Awdazcate, a video is on deck and getting some offers for other things so it looks like Hip Hop is not ready to let me go just yet. That's just the rhyming. The DJing is there as well and i may (gasp) start making beats! Here I go!!!!
